Coral of Cowes

Built as a gaff yawl by White Brothers  
of Southampton in 1902. She successfully won prestigious  
races such as the Kings Cup  
and the Queens Cup.  


In 1934, the original William Starling Burgess Design  
J Class Rainbow was launched at the Herreshoff Yard  
in Bristol. She was built to defend the  
America’s Cup against “Endeavour” in 1934.
